Profile

Scott has more than 35 years of experience in the restaurant business.  As Founder and CEO of Bubba Gump Shrimp Company Restaurants from its inception, Scott grew the mid scale casual dining restaurant chain to over 40 restaurants in 12 countries and $250 million in revenues. During Scott’s tenure Bubba Gump’s was consistently recognised as one of the most financially and operationally successful restaurant groups globally.  After 13 years, Scott and his fellow investors sold the business in 2011 to Landry’s.  Prior to Bubba Gumps, Scott served as President and CEO of Rusty Pelican Restaurants, Inc. from 1992 until 1998 and led that troubled company through its reorganization and return to financial health.

 
In additional to his role with Tiro, Scott actively consults and has managed turnarounds for restaurant companies worldwide.   He is a recipient of numerous awards within the hospitality industry and is is a recognized expert on transactions, branding, concept development and overall operations.

Scott is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. degree in Finance.
